Build the Future of Home Services

Join Promudi.AI and help millions of people get quality work done at home — powered by AI, instant estimates and a vetted network of local providers.

About Promudi.AI

What we're building

Promudi.AI is an AI-powered home services marketplace. Customers describe a job (cleaning, moving, plumbing, electrical, painting, handyman work and more) in plain language or through our AI booking assistant, and we instantly generate a smart estimate, match them with vetted local providers, and let providers auto-bid in seconds. We take the friction out of getting work done at home — no phone tag, no guesswork on price, and no chasing quotes. We are an early-stage, fast-moving team building a vertically integrated marketplace: web app (Next.js), mobile app (Expo / React Native), a NestJS API, an AI agent layer, and a provider growth engine. We are now expanding into new markets and bringing on senior contract talent to help us harden the product, ship faster, and find product-market fit at scale.

Open Positions

We're hiring two senior contract roles to help us harden the product and find product-market fit at scale.

Senior Full Stack Engineer

Own end-to-end features across our Next.js web app, Expo mobile app, and NestJS API. Ship customer-facing and provider-facing flows that move the business.

EngineeringRemote (must be based in Nigeria)Contract (3–6 months, with option to extend or convert to full-time)3–6 months₦500,000 – ₦1,500,000 / month

About the role

You will work directly with the founder and a small senior team. You will touch every layer of the stack — from Postgres schema and Prisma migrations, to NestJS services, to Next.js App Router pages, to the React Native mobile app and the AI booking assistant. We move fast: design on Monday, ship to production by Friday.

What you'll get

  • Monthly contract pay between ₦500,000 and ₦1,500,000 depending on experience.
  • Initial 3–6 month contract with a clear path to extension or a full-time offer.
  • Direct access to the founder and real product ownership — your work ships to real customers and providers in week one.
  • A modern, well-funded stack and the freedom to choose the right tool for the job.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and ship full features end-to-end across web (Next.js 14 App Router), mobile (Expo / React Native + NativeWind) and API (NestJS + Prisma + PostgreSQL).
  • Own data modeling and migrations in Prisma, including schema changes that affect bookings, bids, providers, jobs, payouts and the AI agent.
  • Build and improve the AI booking assistant, auto-bid engine, smart estimates, and the provider matching/ranking logic.
  • Integrate third-party services: Stripe (payments and payouts), Twilio (SMS), Google Maps / Places, Supabase, Azure OpenAI, push notifications.
  • Write production-grade TypeScript with strong types, sensible tests, and good observability (logs, metrics, error tracking).
  • Improve performance, SEO and Core Web Vitals on the marketing and provider profile pages.
  • Harden auth (NextAuth + role-based access for customer / provider / admin), payments, file uploads and webhooks.
  • Help triage and fix bugs reported by users, the product manager and end-to-end Playwright tests.
  • Pair with the product/program manager to break work into shippable slices and set realistic timelines.
  • Contribute to deployment workflows on Vercel, Railway and Azure, and to our CI/CD pipeline.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional full-stack experience shipping production web products.
  • Strong TypeScript across both frontend and backend.
  • Deep experience with React and Next.js (App Router, Server Components, Route Handlers).
  • Solid Node.js backend experience — NestJS is a strong plus, otherwise Express / Fastify with similar architecture.
  • Comfortable with PostgreSQL and an ORM like Prisma; can design schemas, write migrations and reason about query performance.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs, webhooks and third-party SDKs (e.g. Stripe, Twilio, Google Maps, OpenAI).
  • Solid understanding of authentication, authorization and data security.
  • Must currently reside in Nigeria and be able to work Nigerian business hours with overlap into US time zones when required.
  • Strong written English and async communication skills (we run on Slack, GitHub, Linear-style tickets and short Looms).
  • Comfortable owning a feature from spec to production with very little hand-holding.
  • Able to commit a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-accelerated development workflows (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Windsurf or similar) — you ship faster because you know how to get the most out of these tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience with React Native / Expo and shipping to the App Store and Google Play.
  • Experience building or integrating with LLM-powered features (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, RAG, function calling, agents).
  • Marketplace / two-sided platform experience (Uber-style, Airbnb-style, Thumbtack-style).
  • DevOps experience: Docker, Vercel, Railway, GitHub Actions, basic SRE.
  • Playwright / Jest test authoring.

Senior Program / Product Manager

Be the eyes, ears and brain of the product. Learn Promudi.AI end-to-end, hunt for bugs, generate ideas, run market research and help us decide what to build next.

ProductRemote (Nigeria-friendly time zone strongly preferred)Contract (3–6 months, with option to extend or convert to full-time)3–6 months₦350,000 – ₦750,000 / month

About the role

This is a high-leverage role for someone who loves to dig into a product, break it on purpose, talk to users, study the market, and turn that into a crisp, prioritized roadmap. You will work side-by-side with the founder and the engineering team to make sure we are building the right things — and that what we build actually works.

What you'll get

  • Monthly contract pay between ₦350,000 and ₦750,000 depending on experience.
  • Initial 3–6 month contract with a clear path to extension or a full-time offer.
  • Massive surface area — you will touch product, growth, research and ops.
  • A direct line to the founder and real influence over what gets built.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the entire Promudi.AI system end-to-end: customer flow, provider flow, AI booking assistant, auto-bidding, payments, admin tools, web and mobile.
  • Actively hunt for bugs, broken flows, confusing UX, and edge cases across web and mobile. File clear, reproducible bug reports.
  • Generate product ideas and feature proposals backed by user pain, data, and market signals — not just opinions.
  • Conduct market research: study competitors (Thumbtack, Angi, TaskRabbit, Bark, Jiji-style local marketplaces, etc.), pricing models, GTM strategies and positioning.
  • Talk to customers and providers regularly to deeply understand what we are actually selling and to whom.
  • Translate research into crisp PRDs, user stories and prioritized backlogs the engineering team can execute on immediately.
  • Run lightweight program management: sprint planning, status updates, unblockers, release notes, and end-of-week reports to the founder.
  • Define and track product KPIs (activation, conversion, time-to-quote, provider response rate, bookings, GMV, retention).
  • Help shape go-to-market and positioning — what page, headline, pricing and category should we lead with?
  • Own the feedback loop: triage incoming customer/provider feedback and turn it into a closed loop with engineering.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management, program management, or product ops experience in a tech startup.
  • Has shipped consumer or marketplace products — bonus if it was a two-sided marketplace.
  • Strong systems thinker: can take a complex product, map every flow, find the cracks, and propose fixes.
  • Excellent written communication — your PRDs, bug reports and weekly summaries should be a pleasure to read.
  • Comfortable with data: can pull numbers, read a funnel, and reason about cohort retention and conversion.
  • Experience doing real market research (not just Googling) — interviews, competitive teardowns, pricing analysis.
  • Self-starter who can operate with very little structure and create the structure you need.
  • Strong overlap with Nigerian / West African business hours.
  • Able to commit a minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-accelerated workflows (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Notion AI, Perplexity or similar) for research, PRDs, competitive teardowns and rapid prototyping.

Nice to have

  • Background in home services, on-demand, gig economy or local services marketplaces.
  • Some technical literacy (can read a JSON payload, understand an API contract, file a GitHub issue).
  • Experience launching products in emerging markets and/or Nigeria specifically.
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM products and how to evaluate their quality.
  • Experience with tools like Linear, Notion, Figma, PostHog, Mixpanel.
